It is hot, hot in Yangtse Delta and we decided to head for Qilian Mountain and Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to cool off. The first stop is Yinchuan.

There is a riding club near Yinchuan called Bose Equestrian Club, where I bumped into an old friend of mine. We have not seen each other for four or five years and he is the head coach at the club now. What a surprize!

Sha Po Tou, by the Yellow River is a fantastic place, where there is a unique hotel: the Desert Hotel.

All of us love horses and horseback riding so we headed to Shan Dan Military Horse Farm, where we rode horses 30 to 50 kilometers per day for three days and had a terrific time.
