《香港馬術總會》特別通告：香港選手獲取奧運入場劵

特別消息︰香港4選手成功獲取奧運入場劵

4名香港馬術隊(障礙賽)隊員︰鄭文傑﹑林子心﹑林立信及李明華昨日於德國一場資格賽，全部獲得參加奧運馬術比賽的最低資格，而當中鄭文傑與其中一隻愛駒Felton Lee更獲取第一名。同場參加資格賽的還有3名中國 (Zhao Zhiven, Daniel with Tadonis and Waldas; Zuping Huang with Pablo II & Zhang Bin with Coertis)﹑1名紐西蘭 Sharn Wordley with Fall Khaeer) 及1名澳洲藉選手(Laurie Lever with Ashleigh Drossel Dan)

是次資格賽屬5星級賽事，障礙高度達1.6米，闊度最高達2米。
4名獲取奧運馬術比賽的最低資格的騎手及馬匹︰
 鄭文傑 (座騎︰Felton Lee 及 Jockey Club Can Do);
 林子心 (座騎︰Jockey Club Tresor & Coco);
 林立信 (座騎︰Urban);
 李明華 (座騎︰Mr. Burns);

他們4人將於8月代表香港參加奧運馬術比賽。
香港作成奧運馬術比賽的協辦城市，能夠擁有自己的代表隊伍參加比賽，我們深感榮幸和光榮。我們在此祝賀上述四位騎手，感謝他們為香港帶來驕傲及榮譽!

Special News:

Hong Kong Jumping Riders Qualified for Beijing Olympics  2008-05-08

The Hong Kong Equestrian Federation is pleased to announce that four Hong Kong jumping riders, Kenneth Cheng Man Kit, Samantha Lam, Patrick Lam and Jennifer Lee have achieved their Olympic Minimum Eligibility Standard (MES) at a special qualifier in Hagen, Germany yesterday.

Together with the Hong Kong Riders, there were three riders from China (Zhao Zhiven, Daniel with Tadonis and Waldas; Zuping Huang with Pablo II & Zhang Bin with Coertis); 1 from New Zealand (Sharn Wordley with Fall Khaeer) and 1 from Australia (Laurie Lever with Ashleigh Drossel Dan) participated in the qualifier.

The qualifier was in 5 star level with fences up to 1.6m high and 2m wide. Kenneth was qualified with his Jockey Club sponsored horse, Jockey Club Can Do and Felton Lee owned by Raymond Lee. He was placed 1st with Felton Lee in the event. Samantha qualified with her Jockey Club sponsored horse, Jockey Club Tresor and Coco. Patrick Lam qualified with Urban while Jennifer qualified with Mr. Burns.

It is a great news for all people in Hong Kong. It is the utmost privilege and honor for Hong Kong to have its own representing team to participate in the coming 2008 Olympic equestrian events in August.
