SECURITY AND CONTROL OF STABLE AREA

    One steward and one veterinarian should always be available. Visitors to the restricted areas must be accompanied by a steward. For the gate control of the stable area during the night, it is recommended that a list be established with the signatures of all persons entering and leaving, indicating time and reason for visiting a horse at night when stables are offically closed.

    A list of names of the person responsible for each horse must be prepared for the night watchman, in case a problem arises with any horse and the person responsible needs to be contacted. A copy of the medical authorization form must be handed to the steward on night duty.

    Notices must be posted at the stable manager's office information corner or information leaflet, regarding opening times of practice areas timetable and "quiet period" in stables.
