 The Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, also called Xinjiang for short, is located in north western China. Largest in area in all the province-level administrative regions of China, Xinjiang covers an area of 1.66 million sq.km, one sixth of Chinese territory. Situated in the hinterland of Eurasian continent, Xinjiang of China borders eight countries such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Kirghiziastan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Mongolia, India and Afghanistan. With oasis taking up 5% its total area, the eco-system of Xinjiang is characteristic of oasis eco-system. Xinjiang is abundant and unique in its tourist resources.Kanas, known as “Chinese Alps”, one of the most famous scenic spots in Xinjiang. If you go there, you will be attracted by wild landscapes and particular combination of natural sights. Here, you can see Abundant  Natural Landscapes, Multiple Ecosystem Nationalities, Wide Open Prairie, Forest and Snow-capped  Mountain It is a multi-ethnic region where cultures, art and custom of various ethnic groups constitute cultural sights with rich ethnic features that are popular with tourists from both home and abroad. The website has organized more than 40 different riding activities among horse lovers, such as the 150 km endurance riding around Guan Ting reservoir, Grazier Queen V.S. Super Cowboy Competition, 600 km endurance riding in Xiwu County without backup, etc. In the preparation for the equestrian competitions in the 2008 Olympic Games and the 2010 Asian Games, the website provides services to the athletes, horses, trainers, judges, coaches and clubs for registration and inquiry on line, signing up on internet for the competitions and training courses. It has made best of itself to serve as a bridge to the communication and management about the equestrian all over our country as well as a window to the world. From the spring of 2007, Chinese Equestrian Website- Chinese Horsemen Federation has successful organized 5 Horseback  Exploration in Kanas , Xinjiang , and near 100 people have joined in it.  Stone forest landscape, glacier not melted,  original pinewood, magnificent  flower sea,  grand gorge, the largest  pasture in Altay  Prefecture,  original  Hasake mumin, yoghurt yurt, cheap aweto and saddlery, all of which leave a deep expression on people who take part in the exploration. This year we’ll go on with this horseback exploration in Kanas, Xinjiang.
